THE VENUE
Located in the heart of downtown Springfield, our multi-level venue offers standing, row, cabaret and lounge seating options, or a combination thereof. This 850 capacity room is uniquely flexible in accommodating shows of virtually any size - from intimate to max-cap. The floor plan can be adjusted simply by closing off the balcony and/or mezzanine, keeping the audience on one level, making the room look full.
THE HISTORY
Since opening in 1984, we've provided a stage for national and international musicians to perform, hosting over 1,000 different acts and counting. Bringing in many of today's major acts on their first and second tours, The Regency was instrumental in putting Springfield, Missouri, on the map for national touring acts back in the early 80's.
BAND ACCOMMODATIONS
Our lower level was intentionally designed for the comfort and convenience of the artists. With four, 365 sq' well appointed green rooms; a road manager's office; kitchen with beverage and snack bar, dining and lounge area with TV and variety of streaming services, shower, bathroom, laundry facilities; tech repair counter; printer and wi-fi; and direct access to the stage, we're an oasis for touring acts.
